Jobs & scheduling
The whole event, from first call to last invoice.
Job & scheduling is the heart of GigLogix. Every other feature — gear, crew, quotes, billing, WiFi — ties back to a job. Get this right, and the rest of the workflow falls into place.
What it does.
Six things, end-to-end.
- Add a job in 30 seconds: client, date, venue, gear list, crew.
- See every event on a calendar view — by venue, by crew, by gear.
- Conflict prevention: book a speaker for a date, the next quote that needs it gets blocked.
- Pack list per warehouse, generated from the job's gear list.
- Crew call times texted to each tech, with the venue and gear list.
- Status: Inquiry → Quoted → Booked → In Progress → Completed → Invoiced.
How it works.
Four steps from inquiry to invoiced.
Create the job
Client, date, venue. The gear list pulls from your inventory. The crew list pulls from past jobs with the same client or venue.
Build the gear list
Search the inventory, add items, see conflicts. Per-warehouse assignment for pack lists.
Send the quote
Convert the gear list to a quote. PDF, branded, 1-click e-sign. On signature, the job auto-advances to Booked.
Run the event
Pack list prints at the warehouse. Crew gets call times. You see the live status on the calendar.
Who it's for.
AV rental shops
Booking 100-2000 events/year. Tired of double-bookings.
Production companies
Mix of corporate, conference, music, theater. Need the whole event, not just the gear.
Venue operators
Running your own AV at a hotel or conference center. Want the jobs in the same system as the WiFi orders.
Common questions.
How many jobs can I have at once?
Starter is 100 active jobs per month. Pro is 500. Venue is unlimited. An "active job" is anything not in Invoiced+Closed state.
Can I import from a spreadsheet?
Yes. CSV import for clients, equipment, and historical jobs. Most shops do a one-time migration in their first weekend.
Does the calendar sync with Google or Outlook?
Two-way sync with Google Calendar and Outlook 365. Per-user. Read the docs for the setup.
Can clients see their own job status?
Yes. Branded client portal (Pro + Venue). Clients see the status, the crew, and the documents — no email back-and-forth.
